Smart fat-loss with Natural Hygiene
What is a smart way of approaching weight loss?
1. CLASSIC NATURAL HYGIENE
First - let's look at the classic Natural Hygiene approach. Compare: to get rid of disease, we need to remove as many disease causes as possible.
Let's look at over-weight in the same way, as being created by the same 3 causes:
Here is a quick example of a Natural Hygiene approach:
- too many toxins & waste-products (toxemia),
- lack of nutrients (deficiency),
- lack of nerve energy (enervation, low vitality).
A. WHAT TO DO|
First we need to know what to do physically. Here it is a good idea to understand the physical causes of excess fat, and systematically go after these causes, as many as possible:
- To get rid of toxemia, we can e.g. change our diet to toxin-free, waste-free (example: minimize cooking, remove wrong fats, eat less)
- To get rid of deficiency, we can e.g. change our diet to raw, nutrient-rich (example: add raw green juices, add correct fats)
- To get rid of low vitality & low energy, we can e.g. food-combine**, eat minimally**, sleep more, or optimize our mental & emotional & spiritual* well-being. The more vitality we have the faster our body can transform and move excess fat.

B. OVERCOME RESISTANCE|
Second we must also overcome resistance, which is often the biggest hurdle. Here as well a systematic approach may be worthwhile.
- To get rid of the physical cravings, we can e.g. get rid of 1. toxins (which cause "stimulation", an enervation problem) and 2. deficiencies in our diet.
- To get rid of the emotional/mental "cravings" for food, we can e.g. increase our body vitality/energy via diet, exercise, sunshine etc, to increase joy & well-being. Or try different emotional/mental/spiritual techniques. These "cravings" can be defined as enervation problems.

SAVE ENERGY WITH SEQUENTIAL EATING
Called sequential or "layered" eating, the program is designed to conserve the energy used by the body for the digestion and absorption of foods - in order to maximize the energy needed for healing, repair and the elimination of wastes or toxins (the raw materials of cellulite).
SAVE ENERGY WITH MODERATION
"Eat sparingly and remember that quantity is all-important," maintains Dr. Cursio, "even when you're eating only wholesome foods. The more we eat, the more waste is produced, and the more energy is needed for waste elimination.
RESULT - TOXIN REMOVAL

As the body's vitality is enhanced and its capacities are improved, the cleansing or "detoxifying" of its tissues follows as a natural by-product - it simply happens.
WHAT IS CELLULITE?
Our muscles are covered with a padding of fatty tissue, in a waste-removing liquid. If the waste removal system fails, waste & toxins can collect in hard pockets in the fat, pressing on blood capillaries & lymph system, and producing an "orange peel" effect.
2. MODERN NATURAL HYGIENE
Second - a fantastic new tool is available today, which can make fat-loss even more efficient. It is the new knowledge of sugar & starches in our diet, their impact on blood sugar and transformation to saturated body-fat. This physical cause for overweight (carbohydrates) has been written about a lot over the last decade.
Conclusion: the possibly biggest cause of over-weight today is
eating too much sugar & starches
Removal of body-fat will most easily take place when our blood is free of sugar/glucose. Therefore, we must break the chain of adding sugar/glucose to the blood. This will enable fat-loss at the most rapid rate. We'll get back to this in later articles.
Difficulties: Sugar is highly addictive, due to the insulin mechanism. Also, teaching our bodies to use fat for energy (instead of sugar) can take several days of extreme sluggishness, causing many to give up. We'll get back to these problems.
Possible analysis: How does this fit into the toxemia-deficiency-enervation causes-of-disease? Perhaps as "over-eating of a nutrient (sugar)" creating "wastes" (stored in fat-layers)? Our need for sugar/carbohydrates is supposedly very small. We'll try to sort this out later....
By using a Natural Hygiene approach, a Natural Hygiene way of looking at disease, we now can evaluate different weightloss strategies more easily.
