- THE NATURAL (HYGIENE) ROAD TO RECOVERY
In chronic disease - can I get always well?
How? What is the easiest way to recovery?
What's the basic idea?
HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF CHRONIC DISEASE:
My son (53 years
old) , has had a first Meniere attack in
June 1997 and lost the use of that ear some years later (after the
classical medical treatment) - and a partial
operation on the pancreas in March 1997.
A month ago he became the first attack on the second ear with the
perspective to become deaf. What can we do?
I just turned 30 and suffered with food sensitivities for about 7 years
Overeating and mixing a lot of food in an attempt to gain muscle mass probably created this situation

SAME SOLUTION FOR EVERY DISEASE - TRUST THE BODY

4. We better trust the body to automatically perform the best repair & healing possible. But important: we must be patient, & avoid quick superficial relief.
5. Our body can perform remarkable healing feats; so always expect the best - a miracle may be just around the corner - if we know how to work with the body, not against it. In Natural Hygiene, miracles are not uncommon.
THE FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE IS THE COMMON COLD
The common cold is the first line of defense, the key to complete recovery. First when we understand acute disease, especially the common cold, and its function, can we recover from chronic disease.
Acute diseases are completely natural, and useful --- they tell us when our body is speeding up its detoxification & waste-removal & healing.
The key: don't get scared by the symptoms, don't try to stop the disease symptoms (with drugs) --- instead save body energy every way you can (eat less, stay in bed, sleep & rest) --- all saved energy will go to the detoxification & healing. Avoid relief. Short-term relief creates more chronic disease.

STEP ONE: BETTER DIET & LIFESTYLE
No need to know the name of your chronic disease. No need to know the exact cause. Just start out with a better diet, improve your lifestyle, trust the body, and watch what happens.
A better diet must be
as free of toxins as possible (drink water, avoid coffee, tea, salt, pepper, spices, condiments)
as nutritious as possible (e.g. blended salads, veggie juices, raw foods)
as easy to digest as possible (e.g. food combine, or eat mono meals, eat raw foods, do not over-eat)
Improved lifestyle can mean
less worry & stress (negative emotions waste energy)
This is the long-term plan:
STEP TWO: WAIT FOR THE FIRST COLD TO START
After a certain time, perhaps a couple of months, your body may have accumulated enough energy to institute an acute disease, a detoxification. Children have more vitality, and react faster and stronger. If you are very run-down, it may take years.
This acute disease will show as detoxification symptoms, which can be
aches & pains
Remember, if you have decided to try this route - do not stop the symptoms artificially. Do not look for relief. There are drugs of different kinds that are specialized to give relief, there are herbal teas, vitamin C, antibiotics. Don't use them. Don't waste your energy. It is smarter to diminish your toxic load, not increase it.
If you want immediate relief, try water fasting for a day or two.
Be happy and satisfied that you have reached an important milestone, that you now have more vitality, enough vitality to get the cleaning crew working.
STEP THREE: REST & SLEEP & FAST UNTIL THE COLD HAS PASSED
Next, just wait out the cold, while your body is re-directing energy to the waste-removal, toxin-removal and healing, that now has started. Stay in bed, listen to soothing music, meditate, sleep, etc. Expect to get weak. This only means that your body is removing energy from your arm & leg muscles, re-directing it to the healing process. The weaker you are the more energy goes to the inner healing. You will quickly get strong again, as soon as your body decides that the job is done.
An idea: You can e.g. try to imagine the energy working away on your diseased areas, visualize it. Eating minimally or (water) fasting will often make a detox more comfortable.
WARNING: do not mix and match!!
Whatever you do, don't mix and match. (This is dangerous, due to the strong medical drugs typically used, when disease symptoms are strong. Strong disease-symptoms are usually just signs of strong detox.) Choose either the medical/alternative drug route 100% - or the scientific road & Natural Hygiene ideas 100%. You have to choose: either think in terms of killing the beasts that are at war with you, or think in terms of being dirty & toxic and helping the body (and the beasts = germs) with the house-cleaning.
Always also think in terms of allowing as much energy as possible to go to healing. Avoiding unnecessary energy-waste - e.g. via enemas, acupuncture, herbs, or stimulating concocts. Or via negative people, TV, upsetting music, depressing thoughts.
Why not contact a (certified) hygienic doctor, who can guide you through an acute disease? Or go to a (certified) fasting retreat. Get supervision as a newcomer - this is especially important if you get scary detox symptoms, are very low on energy, or have been on strong drugs. Avoid danger - e.g. if you are still on drugs, you must have a supervisor to consult with.
WHEN SICK - AVOID ENERGY WASTE|
ALLOW MOST OF YOUR ENERGY TO
BE USED BY THE BODY FOR HEALING
STEP FOUR: CONTINUE WITH BETTER DIET & LIFESTYLE
After this first round, continue with better diet and lifestyle. Then wait for the next cold, and the next, and next ---- while you observe your health and vitality. You should get better and better, slowly. For every decade of building your disease in the past, it may take you one year of recovery time.

> when you start eating better (in colitis, I think preferably almost-raw, low-starch, low-sugar, organic, omnivorous) your body will accumulate electrical energy or life force slowly. At a certain point, when enough, your body will probably start a major detox ---- it can e.g. be a severe cold -- this is called acute disease.
> Don't fight this cold!! Don't try to stop it with drugs or teas, or similar --- just rest in bed & eat minimally, & suffer through it.
> This period is when major healing is taking place!
> After the cold subsides on its own, you will be in much better shape, a lot healthier. Not 100% well though. Then continue to eat well for a couple of months, until the next major detox crisis. It may take a year or more until you are fully recovered.
> If you understand this, you will get well in the easiest way. (Or rather, I think it is the only way to get 100% well.)
> A friend of mine, with breathing/mucus problems started on a almost raw, omnivorous diet 4 months ago. She was strictly no-starch, and was improving slowly. 2 weeks ago she got a severe cold. She got scared at first and tried to stop it (get relief) with herbal teas, vitamin C, even antibiotics, and her body then gave her aches and pains, in the throat e.g. The body didn't want any of it, it protested. Slowly she relaxed, stopped the antibiotics etc, and accepted that the cold was good for her, even if uncomfortable. She is still very weak, but the pains have now disappeared, and she is now less fearful, and is expecting positive results. Any day now I think her full strength will come back, and when it does she will probably discover that her breathing is much much better, ...
UPDATE A MONTH LATER:
